1. If the remote works at first but then stops pairing, check all your settings to ensure the remote is switched to the correct mode (photo or video).

2. If the remote can work with video recording but not for taking still pictures, check if the remote is set to the "photo" mode and if the camera's drive mode is set to "self-timer: 10 sec/remote."

3. If the remote shows it has paired but cannot take still pictures, again check that the remote is set to the "photo" mode and the camera's drive mode is set to "self-timer: 10 sec/remote."

The WTR-2 timer shutter offers some additional features:

1. It can take 1-199 programmable photos, and the number of shots is unlimited.
2. The exposure time can range from 0s to 99hrs 59min 59s, in one-second increments. To get a single exposure, set the "N" value to 1 and start the exposure by pressing the "play" button.

The WTR-2 shutter is compatible with a wide range of Sony and Konica Minolta DSLR and SLT cameras.
