Product Description: AODELAN FT-8 Wireless Flash Trigger
The AODELAN FT-8 Wireless Flash Trigger simplifies off-camera flash operation with its reliable radio connectivity, allowing photographers to trigger flash units and studio lights from distances of up to 650 feet (200 meters). Operating on a 2.4 GHz frequency, it minimizes radio interference and extends the operational range, even without line-of-sight, as the signals can penetrate walls, windows, and floors.
Featuring 8 channels, the FT-8 enables precise control over individual units or multiple flash setups simultaneously. It includes a 3.5mm to 3.5mm sync cable for connecting to studio flashes, along with a 3.5mm to PC plug adapter for flashes equipped with a 1/4" mono plug socket. The maximum sync speed is 1/250s, suitable for manual mode settings but does not support high-speed (HS) mode or TTL functionality.
The transmitter and receiver pair operate on the same channel to ensure seamless communication. A 'Fire All' button triggers all receivers within range simultaneously, ideal for synchronized lighting setups. Pressing the 'Fire All' button again returns the trigger to its previous mode.
Connecting the FT-8 Transmitter: The FT-8 transmitter is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony (Metal Hot shoe), Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Fuji, and Samsung cameras. It slides securely into the camera's hot shoe, requiring the camera to be set to Manual mode for optimal functionality.
Connecting Flashes to the FT-8 Receiver via Hot Shoe: The receiver accommodates standard hot shoe flashes, securely locking them in place with an integrated mechanism. Like the camera, the flash should be set to Manual mode for synchronization with the transmitter.
Connecting a Flash/Strobe to the FT-8 Receiver via Sync Cable: Included in the package is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm sync cable and a 3.5mm to PC plug adapter, facilitating connections to off-camera flashes and studio strobes. Simply plug one end into the receiver's 3.5mm Sync Port and the other end into the flash or strobe, setting them to Manual mode for operation.
